Our story

The gator in the cowboy hat.

It started on Highway 36 in Somerville — a roadside spot where the parking lot fills up on boil days, the wrapped truck sits out front, and the red tube man dances whether there's wind or not.

The recipe hasn't changed: fresh crawfish, a boil method they've spent years perfecting, and a Cajun spice blend that stays in the family. Aggieland regulars make the drive down 36 all season long — because it isn't really a getaway unless you leave town for it.

Boil season runs roughly January through June — crawfish are at their biggest in spring. Call ahead for today's availability.

Weekends start at 11. Saturday and Sunday the pots are going by 11 AM — come early, stay 'til they're empty.
